Chinese Can Baptize inside China

We’re hopeful that you guys are well and prospering. Paula and I are serving as church hosts and have opportunity to meet folks visiting from China. Recently one of our guests, a business woman from Qingdao China, was baptized and sent this report of her visit to the local Qingdao branch.

How are you?

I’d like to share some information with you about Qingdao Church, I attended Qingdao Church this Sunday, and met many Brothers and Sisters there, there are more than 40 members in Qingdao Church, the whole procedure is just like what I participated in the Church of Salt Lake City, we sang the Hymns, received Communion, listend to several Brothers and Sisters’ testimony, the theme of that day is “Sacrifice”, I also attended the Sunday School and learnt a lot from the Brothers and Sisters. I met Brother He and his wife and son, his son has been called to be a missionary in Califonia, he will go to Salk Lake City for training in September, I introduced you to them and told them you would like to help if his son need anything in Salt Lake City, Do you mind me telling them your email? Sister He told me that Qingdao Church can also baptise now, there will be 5 brothers and sisters receive baptism on Jul 31, the Qingdao Church is growing very fast.

For showing respect, I didn’t take any picture, although the facility of Qingdao Church is not as good as Salt Lake City Church, but my feeling is the same, compare with the other members, my knowledge is very limited, Sister He helped me to download the APP of Library on Cell phone, so I can read the books about LDS any time.

The Qingdao Branch president is Brother Zhang, he told me I can transfer my record to Qingdao Church, could you please help me to check my file number? Thank you very much.
